Now they are making a fuss that Palin's 17 year old daughter is pregnant.  Who cares   It'd be different if she's having an abortion, but she's not, so they should just lay off, and not bring it into the campaign.

WTF was McCain thinking, asking a women, younger than Obama, less experience than Obama, to be on the Ticket.

Why does McCain have to compare his running mate to Obama...at all?

Anyone been watching the Republican debate?  I watched the last 10 or so minutes of McCain's speech last night.  I really liked what he had to say.  I was watching highlights on the news this morning, and he made only a few bashes toward Obama, and his OWN party.  I liked it.  I don't think Palin is as bad as I had originally thought.

It will certainly be interesting to see if America has learned from its mistakes. Sadly, there are way too many stupid people out there.

People care because of the hypocrisy factor.  If conservatives didn't try to shove family values, abstinance only, no sex before marriage bull crap down our throats, it wouldn't be such a big deal.  But since Palin can't even keep her own family under control, then people are ripping her a new one.

There're a lot of things I've heard about Palin.  She's sexist, racist, she left the town she used to be mayor of in economic ruin... there were only FIVE THOUSAND PEOPLE IN THE TOWN!!!!!!  Including her family!  HOW do you put a town of five thousand in economic ruin?!

... Yeah.  I don't like her.

The first half=Obama. Second half=McCain. It came out rather evenly, I thought. I also thought that Barack did quite a bit of agreeing with McCain.  :P

I could not believe the amount of insanity and idiocy spewing out of McCain's mouth, near the end. It would be VERY scary to have someone like him run this country. <_< :faint:

They both spewed unbelievable amounts if idiocy as far as I'm concerned.
