I didn't catch Abrams & Bettes at the beginning (storms coming through my area).
But from any glimpses I saw (not the work desk set you guys are talking about)... very nice!

One word of advice for the both of them, but especially Stephanie... slow the hell down!

Do we know if the real Titan HD can not be twirled and tilted like Skytracker could be?

(This comes after seeing too many maps turned and twisted the last couple of days.)

I just saw a promo for tomorrow's YWT, and I don't know if it was in HD or not. It was not letterboxed on the SD feed.  :unsure:

mine is never letterboxed I have the sd feed also, I have an old tv from 2003, tis a old fashioned analog one. I am buying a new hd one though in august or september.

Nope, it wasn't HD, which is surprising considering you'd think they'd want to promote the whole HD image.

Not sure if this has been pointed out before, but has anyone noticed that Evening Edition and EEWC's openers are a bit different? EEWC's opener doesn't have that nighttime city background, and the logo is a bit "tilted."

Lately, EEWC has been using a different opener that doesn't transition out like the EE opener does, as master control seems to have trouble using those types of transitions.

Correct. They're pulled off the transitional effect from the normal opener successfully very rarely in the past...

Yes, unless I misunderstood; that's what Stephanie said at the beginning of the show tonight.

And speaking of Stephanie, she said she is a bit under the weather tonight. She has a cold, and you can hear it in her voice. Before the last two commercial breaks, you could see her turn around and grab a tissue.
