How will TWC handle Weather Updates in the future?
« on: June 23, 2008, 09:44:32 PM »
With the recent severe weather we've had here, I'm wondering how dual feed Weather Updates will be preformed in the future when all the shows are moved in the HD studio. Obviously, they couldn't do the weather update from the video projector wall because that would be in use by the main show already in progress. Would they have to use the new key wall in the HD studio? Or would TWC keep another wall open somewhere else in the building just for weather updates?
My super-awesome website!

I'd imagine they'd use the key wall that swivels for dual-feed coverage. That's probably exactly what it's used for.

The severe updates are done on another set, but using the same control room as before (which was made HD a year or so ago, it is a scalled down by half version of a regular control room)
