They used a disclaimer on the Surviving the Elements: Katrina saying that the show was filmed before Katrina and such. They could do the same for Tornadoes saying that the Red Cross guidelines changed yada yada yada

They're not using the side room today on FO. They did the :10 Travel segment from the monitor on the right side of the big desk, and they did the :55 segment from in front of the video wall. I wonder if something's wrong in the side room.

Great Escapes week is this week. I just realized that they never made any announcement last week...now this week they are promoting it. Plus, Natalie Allen...the Great Escapes reporter??  :blink:

Yeah, that is odd. I am beginning to think she was not laid off, but became one of those "fill-ins", in that she will always be there when TWC needs her. So, she really did not get laid off. As to why TWC is having Natalie report as opposed to one of the many other people they have to do field reporting, I do not know.  :dunno:  :wacko:

It seems that they're having Natalie Allen doing what Julie Martin used to do. Since there's no more "Forecast Earth" for her to host, they're having her do other stuff (like field reporting), which was Julie Martin's job. Julie Martin seems to now be frequenting weather.com forecasts more often.
