It appears as though there is yet another new intro. It is the same one going through the clouds as we saw last fall and again in March, but set to different music. I just saw a part of it, but not the whole thing since it was cut off.

Does anyone know exactly when the :20 and :50 segments were split to two segments? I know not too long ago (like 3-4 years ago) the Weekly Planner and Storm Watch were 5-6 minutes long with no commercial breaks.

AFAIK, they were split into two segments for all shows starting with the 2003 relaunch. Then in May 2007, they changed DP, WC, PME, A&B, and WO to have the extended segment at :20 and :50 again. A&B switched back to the split-segment format in May 2008 just before the relaunch.
