It may be a long shot, but anyone think that we could see Dennis back on TV any time soon?

Maybe we'll see him on Weekend Outlook, or perhaps on First Outlook when Jen goes on maternity leave.

has anyone noticed that the sponsor messages have been appearing much more often on the weather.com forecasts? I hate it how those ads cover up the whole page, which really slows my computer down.

Dennis is also doing the regional forecasts on weather.com today!

I noticed that. I was going to put one of those on YouTube, but right before I downloaded it, they replaced the forecast with one by Alex Wallace. <_<

When were the "Where's the Weather" and "Forecast for You" segments discontinued on Weekend View?

I seem to remember "Forecast for You" lasting after Dao Vu left, so it was probably discontinued with the relaunch. I'm pretty sure "Where's the Weather" was discontinued before Dao left or possibly when Dao left.

I guess the dust from the HD relaunch is starting to settle; they finally used a recorded teaser for the start of the 7 PM CT hour of PMEW tonight.

They used that a few weekends ago too, actually.

Ah, I see.

Was Adam pulling a Dave earlier and making up facts for humorous purposes when he said that the Weekly Planner was voted America's favorite segment, or was there some real poll about that?

Well, there is a FAQ on weather.com about when the weekly planner airs, so it is a possibility that it is indeed America's favorite segment.

I personally always found the weekly planner the most useful and interesting segment since I started following TWC in the late 90's.

Especially now that they restored the temperature maps to their former glory... :cool3:

Exactly. Now all they need to do is ditch the key for the forecast maps and bring back the text that overlayed the color codes on the maps like before the HD relaunch. As it is now, the light rain code is so bright that it keeps making me think it means rain and snow! It's also hard to tell how heavy the precip will be without the text overlaying it, and whether it will be scattered or numerous.

I know! I saw that this morning on Weekend View!  It was so nice to see it.  To me, before, the map used to just be very red. haha

Why are they still showing the Hurricane Authority openers? There are no tropical systems out there.
