Just to add to what I said, I think I found it. He's on AMC 5, possibly. I will head out and lock a dish to it and report back. If I DO obtain the feed, I will stream it online.
So only us with Dish can see it?

No. Only I can see it, it's not on a "Dish" satellite, it's on a "feed" satellite that is operated by Echostar. It requires a Motorola MPEG / PowerVu receiver to get it.

I know which satellite they are on, and can get the raw feed of Cantore!
You can't now, he's offline now. :P

Apparently Dave and Vivian are up at the top of the hour. Could it possibly be in HD? Is Dave ready for HD? I'm actually surprised they're bringing Dave into this situation. Perhaps Dolly is funny? :P

Hurricane :)

They just lost Mike, signal dropped.

They've also got the live bug over recorded things.

Interesting; during Weather Center, they've been using a legacy build of Skytracker with the Interstate font, dark blue water, and satellite imagery map.

Yeah, I also noticed that.

Also so far on Weather Center, they've been using a remixed version of the Tropical Update theme that was used in 2005 (before the BWTL relaunch). I really like that theme.

I hated the 2005 BWTL Tropical pdate package. The orchestral doom music, the biggest lower-thirds i have ever seen, and the rain-on-window effect rubs me the wrong way somehow.

I actually liked the entire package pretty much, but I agree with you on the lower thirds. I disagree about the rain-on-window effect. I REALLY liked that, it captured that "tropical" feeling pretty well. B)

Is Day Planner permanently in HD now, or was it just for the hurricane? :dunno:  I guess I could just be patient and wait to see tomorrow. :P

The 2005 set was probably my favorite. They did a good job covering storms, and the rain-on-window effect, as you said, was really neat.

I really liked the theme for 2005 too. That one and the 2006-2007 one were the best.
