It appears that they're live once again at 2:10 AM ET, though there was no LIVE tag. Rich was showing a radar map and severe t'storm warnings.

Edit:
At 2:20 AM ET, they showed the Weekly Planner segment that played at 12:20 AM ET, complete with quiet Weekly Planner open, and mis-queued SkyTracker.

@ First part: Yeah, they probably figured they ought to go live during the parts that were live before.

@ second part: Doesn't master realize they should've thrown that segment out after what happened? Apparently not.

Okay, that was a weird start to EEWC...

Sharon: "...a few weeks ago when the first [audio started skipping] rou rou rou rou rou rou rou rou [audio stops skipping] round of..."

Sort of like what happened at my NBC afilliate  :whistling:

I love those kinds of bloopers though.

I love those kinds of bloopers though.

On both of these occasions there were problaly bad bits of data that got in to the encoding stream which would have caused that jump loop.

Hmm, is EEWC going live tonight? Because they've used the live tag all throughout the show so far. Unless, it's a mistake (which has happened before).

I've noticed that during the Road Crew segments, Jeff Mielcarz drives around an SUV with California license plates. I thought it would've had Georgia plates.

As of 2:22 AM ET, the LIVE tag is still present on EEWC. Looks like Sharon will be doing all four hours by herself tonight!  :o

Edit: I take that last statement back. It looks like they put the LIVE tag on by mistake. At 12:35 AM ET, Sharon said mentioned a Tornado Minute segment would be next, but instead they showed a Forecast Earth segment. The same thing happened at 2:35 AM.

There's some kind of weird thing with Master and the LIVE tag on the Hurricane Central key wall such that the LIVE tag used with that camera is different than the one used on the rest of the broadcast. I don't know why exactly it's set up that way, but I first noticed the inverse issue on Monday during Weather Center in which the LIVE tag would turn off when they went to the Hurricane Central wall. They had that fixed for Tuesday's show this week.

That was an interesting camera shot in the WV studio when going to this current break; we could actually see the hallway leading into the studio.

Today is the first day that the Day Planner big backdrop was intentionally used on a weekend. :P
