1b? what? i thought 1b was closed?
It is, but perhaps they left the chroma key(s) in 1B for use.

I think they left one running, but I could be wrong. Alexandra did the Weekly Planner from Hurricane Central tonight, but Paul is doing his segments from 1B.

I noticed Betty and Kelly were both using a good key wall tonight, so perhaps they're the same height and can both use the same wall in 1B?

Listen to the audio, does the suspicious / possible 1B camera sound more "echo"-ie than the other shots?

Wait, why would a camera have an echo sound?

wouldn't that be a lengthy walk from the green screens in 1b to the big desk in 1a?

not really lengthy, but still a good distance away (i would assume anyway).

Nope: http://img186.imageshack.us/img186/965/twcstudiomap10206rk2.jpg

Note the green screens right next to the big desk in that picture. Those are the green screens on set 1B.

Not with certain master control operators who don't pay attention and forget to change the mics. :P

Seriously though, I didn't get to listen to the audio closely before. I'll have to listen better during EEWC.

They used the EE backdrop on PME from the start of the show today.

Also, they're using the camera zoom-in effect today that is used on shows that are normally broadcasted from the big desk. Yesterday, they did not use that effect.

Is this mini lower third for Weather Center new, or do they just not show it often? This is the first time I've seen this.

I first saw it used in Sept. 2007. It's used less frequently than the mini lower thirds on other shows.

The audio on TWC appears to be VERY quite as of 4:20 PM CT, and it's not just the OCMs, the Weekly Planner opener was quiet as well.

The audio seems fine here. Must be your cable company.

Probably. The LF audio now is extremely low.
