And now, a Weekly Planner at :16 past. Apparently, all these problems we've seen so far have been apparently caused at the top of the 9 PM CT hour, where commercials kept on interrupting the start of the EE broadcast.

And now we're seeing a Gardening Lifestyles segment not normally seen on EE.

That's for sure. Although, I think the timing issue due to what happened at the top of the hour has since been fixed, and we won't be seeing anything else unusual.

It's interesting how some of the OCM's still refer Evening Edition as "The Weather Channel Evening Edition," when the official name of that show was shortened to simply "Evening Edition" back in the 2003 relaunch.

Force of habit probably.  ;)

Wow, I noticed that this thread is an exact simulcast of a thread over at TWCC. Even the name is nearly identical, despite that I was told that no such thread was ever made over there.

So much for exclusive content, eh?

I'm not sure who told you that, but that thread has been there since October 2006, before the existence of this site. ;)

Hey, this site still gets plenty of exclusive content. We were talking about the new Forecast Earth nearly a week before any mention of it was ever made on TWCC. Even these two threads tend to discuss different things at different times, and it makes it easier to carry on different discussions in different threads.

Anyway, back to the errors tonight. I don't know if anyone else here has TWC HD, but on that channel, they actually aired the entire :06-:08 commercial break while EE was going on followed by an actual HD LF complete with music at 9:02 CT. At the same time on the SD channel, they aired a part of the :06 break but then switched over to the :14 commercial break, which kept switching back and forth with the studio feed until things were resolved.

Yes, for Evening Edition.

They also added Day Planner, PM Edition, Overnight Outlook, Weekend Outlook, and Weekend Planner.

And Storm Stories.

Actually, all the graphics changed in the 2003 relaunch (on the same day).

And Storm Stories.
That was added several months before the '03 relaunch, in January of that year, IIRC.
