Has the LDL been red (I'm taking about yesterday, mainly)?  On SD, I saw no change, but it looked a lot darker like a red, or even black, color on HD.  Adrian also said yesterday that the LDL was in red mode.  It just didn't seem as noticeable to me this time.  :thinking:

It seems the only change during severe weather is the background behind the graphics on the LDL is black.

Carl Parker is covering the severe storms at the expert desk with Bryan Norcross covering the tropical storms.

Also, for the last couple of days, the OCM now says on WCL: "From the Weather Channel's Headquarters in Atlanta, your watching Weather Center Live". They originally said that on DP but now they are saying it on WCL.

Regular schedule resumed at 11pm ET.

Adam and Danielle at 1am ET.
In previous weeks if one of the OCMs was off or filling in earlier they would just have one OCM on at 1am ET.

Good move by TWC, plus who wants to watch an outdated Top 5 Tornadoes countdown show from 2011?

TWC staying live for 8pm with storms in the North East and a possible tornado in OK for the Tornado Hunt team.

Back to taped programming at 9pm ET and I tune out.

An old episode of Iron Men is more important then the North East storms and the Tornado hunt? :censored:

From what I saw of TWC's coverage tonight, I was very disappointed that they only seemed to focus on the NE.  There were other storms in the Plains, but, oh yeah, the NE always takes predecence. :rolleyes:
