So Weather Center tonight consisted of the following:

- A taped replay showing off Dr. Forbes saying the tornado would be bad
- Interview of a dumb couple who actually argued about what to do in the tornado
- Replays of the same footage and scenes of the tornado over and over again
- More repeats of stories and info by Jim Cantore
- About 5min of actual weather forecasts
- No live weather coverage

I'll just assume the severe thunderstorm warnings over my area did not merit a single mention.

As much as I care about the people impacted, they are going WAY overboard on this. TWC wasn't like this at all after the May 3, 1999 outbreaks in Oklahoma, and that was much worse than what happened last weekend.

I don't like to play the blame when it comes to how things are handled on TWC these days, but I feel that strong influence of the shows being forced to be news oriented over being wx oriented is NBC's doing. (May I remind everyone of the "Balloon Boy" story?  ) What happened in Yazoo City, MS and Weir, AL were devastating tragedies and my heart and prayers do go out to the victim's families who lost family members or lost their valuables, but even our local affiliates here didn't dwell on the Yazoo City, MS tornado to the point that they have on TWC and even if they did, I'm sure they would have used new footage and new interviews instead of reusing stock footage they got back on Saturday when the tornado happened.

TWC might want to look ahead to prepare people for possibly another round of severe weather, which I already can see ahead late this week into the weekend for the Southeast.  They can only dwell on past tragedies for so long.

This morning at approx 945am ET the YWT logo was up on screen going to break... assuming the lda was off long enough to get a good HD screenshot, does anyone have it? Please try not to save the image in a jpg format as it compresses it and makes it look not pretty... I wanna use it to better tthe show logo and update the wiki logo. Thanks in advance!!

Other shows should eventually see new music from what I have been told. Almost curious if WC will get a graphics update like YWT
