I didn't even know they still used fog color codes on the weekly planner maps until the other night when I saw them for the first time in years. :blink:

Billy and I have never seen "freezing fog" on any TWC map when we talked about it.  Those areas are under dense fog advisories right now from the NWS, and the freezing fog advisories are only in effect for parts of Illinois and Indiana.  Regardless, that map with the "cloudy" label hugging the yellow "fog" shading is really confusing just to any viewer watching. :wacko:

I'm pretty sure the darkness of the yellow color codes depend on how dense the fog is.
