I think you're right about TWC already looking forward to winter.  It always seems that autumn is the most overlooked season of the year when it comes to weather coverage.

I think you're right about TWC already looking forward to winter.  It always seems that autumn is the most overlooked season of the year when it comes to weather coverage.

Well, is it possible the sleet icon meant that there was hail? :unsure: I do know that the hail/sleet icons are exactly the same...maybe there was hail in the area. :thinking:

No, hail was never indicated at all from the Atlanta observations during this whole time.

Well, it appears as though there are a new set of station IDs now. Not exactly to the highest of my liking, since I was hoping they would do at least one with fall colors on it. The two that I have seen are the one Mike mentioned above, the Mountain scene, and what looks like a lake in a forest with a dock on the foreground. Haven't seen the third one, and didn't have a chance to since WMM does not work on my desktop.
