Question...

Since the city backdrop has been removed for WUWA, does the desk for PM Edition (or any show that used to face the backdrop) have a new position? :dunno:

(I guess I really should just watch PM Edition to see. :wall: :P)

Yes. They are on the monitor position now. They got rid of the skyline and the starry room because of the WUWA studio (which it's pretty sad.).

That's such a boring position IMO. And do any shows face the blue map wall (where the small desk is) anymore? One thing I liked about the new HD studio was the many different desk positions, but now it looks like many are going away. :(

When I saw FO in the last month, it was at the small desk by the map wall.

First Outlook, Your Weather Today, Weather Center, and Weekend Now use the little desk with the maps. All be it, Your Weather Today and Weather Center still use the Big Desk during the show too.

I must not be watching TWC very often then. I thought YWT always faced the video wall, and I don't think I've ever seen Weather Center use the small desk. Whenever WC starts, the OCMs usually are already standing at the video wall.

I agreed, city backdrop was much better. Montior Position is nothing special.

Sometime earlier this morning (about 01:18 CDT if I remember correctly), the LF was silent. There was a slight problem (green screen, black) briefly during the OCM segment afterward, but I noticed no problems after that.

The 2pm block of long-form is being preempted due to Louisville, KY flooding.

They went into "Developing Story" mode last week on Cantore/Steele. I thought this "Developing Story" would replace Storm Alert. Great, TWC, you're again heading to sensationalism. Put Sam Mohr on for another hour, and you'll be in the worst shape you've ever been.

How are they heading to sensationalism? They're talking about a breaking WEATHER story, and this IS The Weather Channel. Of course they're going to cover it! :whistling:

Nick Walker barking commands at someone at 3PM.
Also: continuing the breaking news in Louisville.
