A few minutes ago, Kevin Robinson was making an attempt to do the forecast for this weekend's NASCAR action, but he provided some really horrible information. He told us that the "qualifying races" were canceled due to rain yesterday but that they were going to try again today. First off, that's not true at all. NASCAR has already set the fields for all series by points, and there will be no further attempts to qualify. Secondly, it's not a qualifying "race". It's single-car time trials.

TWC should really make sure their OCMs know what they're talking about before they present this kind of inaccurate information.

Did he happen to mention "California Speedway?" If so, the track changed names yesterday to "Auto Club Speedway."

He didn't mention it, but their graphics are still using the old name. Methinks the entire TWC organization needs a little "NASCAR update".

And Kevin made the exact same mistake again at 1:42 PM ET. He called them  "qualifying races" and said they'd attempt to get them in again today.

I had to get rid of it. I don't think it's really necessary to have a seperate thread for Spring Rubber's thoughts. Do you really think that's necessary?
