anyone else seeing the lowerthird failure on PM Edition right now? Something appears to be wrong with the top solid color bar at the top, it's not transparent. (usually you can see "PM Edition" -or- (show name) scrolling to the right)

if that makes sense.

pics: first two...solid black bar across the top of the lowerthird.

last two...the top solid black bar should have transparency applied so that "PM Edition" can be seen. (it is not)

I think the 16% LDL is staying for a while as those new L3rds are basically a small version of the 33% L3rds used on a normal PME broadcast

They just played a "for the latest on Hurricane Earl" LOT8s opener.

During the Weather Center preview segment (7:00 PM Eastern this evening), there was a part showing Karl, but the title was: "Tracking Earl" I just noticed that Earl and Karl share every letter in the same place, except for the first one.

Earlier today they had the meteorologist's name appear before she actually moved onto the screen and it faded away until she actually did come on screen.

YWT was having a few issues this morning. First pic was a text typo. Oops. The second (NE headlines) doesn't quite make sense. The southern forecast was "scattered T'storms across southern" .... where? The Football Forecast high temp for Saturdays Seattle game looks innocuous until Mike Bettes corrects it by saying the games' high will be 59°.

STAR's didn't cue until a minute into the 5:08 PM EST 9/22/10 LF. This error was nationwide.

During When Nature Strikes Back, there was no ad on the LDL, and a WC L3rd cued for a few moments. I only have pictures of the ad-free LDL, because the picture of the WC L3rd turned out horrible, and I deleted.

Isnt that supposed to happen when a L3rd comes on?

LDLs don't always have ads.  Honestly, I prefer them when they don't.  Some of those ads get SO distracting.  I do appreciate radars and other maps in the corner of the screen as necessary, as we've seen with landfalling tropical cyclones.

Not sure if this is a local or national thing, but a local ad played here about a local grocery store and after it went off the text forecast of the IntelliStar displayed.

This morning Kelly Cass had the remote in her hand, but was trying to make it look like one of the LCD monitors was touch screen for the day outlook graphic thing.
