MUCH ABOVE NORMAL TEMPERATURES FROM 102 TO 106 DEGREES AND HIGH HUMIDITIES WILL CAUSE HEAT INDEX VALUES TO RISE INTO THE 110 TO 113 DEGREE RANGE THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING.
RESIDENTS SHOULD REDUCE OR ELIMINATE OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES TODAY. DRINK PLENTY OF WATER OR OTHER NON-ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES. WEAR LIGHT COLORED AND LIGHTWEIGHT CLOTHING. ALSO IF POSSIBLE... SPEND MORE TIME IN AN AIR CONDITIONED ENVIRONMENT.
