Well, here is a topic I am starting to post weather highlights and forecasts for right here in the Capital City. Please feel free to reply  :)
Here is a start:
Highlights:
Day 1: After a small group of showers moves through tonite (no one is sure exactly where this are of t-storms is going, so we are under the forecast of "Isolated Thunderstorms"), winds will rush out of the southwest. Temps are expected to saor well into the 70's, and possibly touch 80. This temperature has been lowered from 82, which it was at this morning.
Day 2: Winds are to continue gusting out of the southwest through the day Saturday. A front wil be moving closer to the area, but will not move through on Saturday itself.
Day 3: A front will be pretty close to the area, but again, won't move through on Sunday either. As of now, the SPC does have Lansing under a slight risk for severe weather (see image below). Damaging winds, large hail, and heavy rainfall from thunderstorms (Flash Flooding?) are the primary threats expected.

Day 4-5: This front will be slow to move through the area. Thunderstorms remain in the forecast through Tuesday, but it is too early to tell if severe weather is anticipated.

Well, this is definitely catching my attention:
May 13 Tomorrow night
Windy with showers and thundershowers during the evening - thunderstorms becoming more numerous overnight with heavy downpours. Low 57F. Winds SSW at 20 to 30 mph. Chance of rain 80%. Significant rainfall amounts possible.
We haven't had Heavy T-Storms in the forecast since May 2004, so this could be interesting!

Winter storm warning in effect for 7-9 inches of snow.
