Kansas Weather

On TWCC I had a Kansas Statewide weather thread so why not here?

==In the News==
Western Kansas has seen some springtime thunderstorms erupt as numerous tornado warnings were issued early this week and a few tornadoes reported.  No damage or injuries were reported.  Across the Eastern part of the state highs climbed into the upper 80s.

The weather has calmed down across the state with clear to partly cloudy skies, and highs reaching the mid to upper 80s.  A chance of Thunderstorms comes tomorrows with highs only reaching the lower to mid 80s.

Kansas has had an very active Winter Season with numerous snowstorms pounding the state.  However, things are changing with severe weather occuring this past week, and a Statewide Tornado Drill being set for this coming Tuesday.  As Kansas comes into Severe Weather Season, I will start posting more weather information for the state.

Forecast:
50s in the western part of the state, 40s in the east.  Next week snow in the west and poss. severe storms in the east.
