This is definetely worth posing. Tuesday, February 1, 2011 was a fantastic day, although most of us were probably asleep and did not see the big transition from warm to arctic.

Next, have you ever wondered how many different weather conditions you can have in a day? Well, check below, and you may get an idea. According to the NWS, ALL of these weather conditions were recorded in Dallas sometime on Tuesday:

 THUNDERSTORM
 MIXED PRECIP
 HEAVY RAIN
 LIGHT RAIN
 LT FREEZING RAIN
 SNOW
 LIGHT SNOW

 HAZE
 BLOWING SNOW

FINALLY...Texas is a big state (as we all probably know 

). So with a big state means a big range in temperatures:
FACT:Amarillo's highest temperature on Tuesday was 10°F.
Brownsville's highest temperature on Tuesday was 72°F.
That's a 62° difference in high temperatures for the state!!!
