I thought I would share what I posted at TWC Classics in terms of a weather report for today for Washington.
For past reports and chat posts, feel free to visit the TWC Classics' Washington weather thread.
http://www.twcclassics.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=4474The heat wave is finally coming to an end today with the welcomed cold front approaching from the west.
However, those in the Washington-Baltimore corridor will pay a price to get that cooler air into the region.
Earlier this afternoon, the first round of showers and scattered thunderstorms rolled through, including one that
moved across downtown Washington. More storms are expected tonight with the passage of the cold front.
I have not added the transparent byline on the photo yet, but to give the appropriate copyright credit,
the current conditions graphic page background is by calebneeinusa at Flickr.
PLEASE NOTE:
Baltimore's weather report in this post comes from the city's downtown waterfront under the reporting site name
"Inner Harbor" as seen at its National Weather Service page. Olney, Maryland did not issue a weather report.
