Wrong. Your only externally cooler when you get in the pool. Your internal body temperature only drops a degree or two. It only takes a few moments after getting out of the pool for your body temperature to return to normal.

I know from past experience. You cool down quickly, and stay relatively cool after.

Though, it all depends on water temperature, and other factors.
