We've been getting weird weather the past few days. A phenomenon I like to call Lake Effect Storms.

Storms form over the Lake, then move from East to West over the area.

It first started at 4:00 AM this morning. I had my window open and saw lightning. so i turned on TWC and saw
First Outlook for the second time in my life, and there was nothing but Red on the radar over the Lake!

Pretty carzy!

A cold front moved through last night, but its still 87 degrees right now. Humidity is high as well. This isnt supposed to stop
until late next week. Tomorrow it will be 85 with a chance of thunderstorms!

Yeah, it really goes to show how screwed we are up here with severe weather. Theres no other explaination, other than that the lake
steers it all away.

On Wednesday, we had an actual Tornado Warning for my part of the county. Unfortunately, I wasn't home when it happened. >:( But
my mom was...

So it was like 3:30 PM and my mom heard the tornado sirens, but the one right by our house wasn't sounding. so she turned on TWC
and there was a Tornado Warning, and the storm was heading right for us! We were actually listed as one of the towns in the path
on the warning. Well, we never did get a tornado, but they reported a rotating cloud at an intersection in Schaumburg, which is only
about 3-4 miles from my house!

Pretty kickass!! What really ticks me off is that the one day im gone, something like that happens. And I can guarantee it wont
happen for another 3-4 years! >:(

Did you excited seeing the funnel cloud? I would've had a trip of a lifetime to see a funnel cloud and/or tornado with hail, wind, rain, lightning and thunder.
