LOL. Yeah the severe stuff never seems to happen for ya.  :D
I know. Stupid Lake Michigan  >:(

Though i saw the areas of expected severe weather, and the areas covered makes it look somewhat promising. I doubt it though

Yah, and even when it does come, it always misses 10 miles south, or 10 miles north, and what not. Totally unfair

I've experienced plenty of the same kind of thing here. The Appalachians tend to help weaken storms before they get to this part of the state.

Yah, i think the Lake has something to do with it here. Everyone says it doesnt, but i'm convinced that it does.

I have no doubt that it does. Water acts in much the same way as mountains do. I've seen many storms come through my area and nearly die out as they were passing over the Chesapeake Bay. Over course, its not guaranteed that either will have any effect. I've seen plenty of storms roll across both and stay very strong.

Well we got a very short, but heavy downpour this afternoon. Couldn't have lasted more than 1:30 minutes. it got pretty soaked though.
We are now under a Flood Watch.

That makes sense, except for the fact that the lake is east of us, so it's not like it goes over the lake first.  It's just frustrating

Yah, and in Wisconsin, the huge storms go right over the lake and maintain their strength! That REALLY makes me mad >:(

Well the rain ended, and its kinda weird outside. its cloudy, but the sun brightens up the clouds. its VERY VERY Humid with a dewpoint
of around 70. this should help fuel storms later.

Well i was wrong. A thunderstorm is just starting to roll in. Theres lots of lightning and thunder, but hardly any rain.

Its so humid outside, as soon as you go outside, it feels like your skin is covered in sap. :o

The thunder is so loud, sudden, and huge that it almost gives you a heart attack!
