Our normal STAR is an XL #003028, Summersville, WV. Now we are getting an Intellistar #30844. This star is showing weather from Weston, WV. Weston is approx 70 miles north of us. I think it's a mistake with the cable provider. Could the STAR Team Check into this? I hope this is not permenant. Because the weather is very different in the these locations. Our cable provider is Shentel. Thanks

Sometimes this happens when your local Star is down for repairs or otherwise has to be taken offline for whatever reason. It's usually a temporary situation. But I'm sure the Star team will look into it for you.

Thanks. I'm enjoying the intellistar. Hopefully they are upgrading our STAR and just using the Weston STAR until the XL is repaired or replaced with an ISTAR. Cool to see our cable company has used all generations of the STARs.

I hope you'll be getting an upgrade, too! :)

I checked the incident history and on 2/15/11 there was a report of no video on the XL star. Thus, it appears that if the part can be fixed this will be temporary.

Well, so much for your upgrade. Enjoy the Intellistar while you can!

Thanks STAR Team.
