Title: Timing issues
Post by: TWCC_DJK5555 on November 24, 2010, 08:51:52 PM
IntelliSTAR 21805 has been a little off lately.  For the past several days, it has been late to start (I'll see about 5 seconds of the satellite forecast before the STAR kicks in and does its thing).  Today, it was starting early, while the audio was still saying "And now your local forecast" (and thus, finishing early, so now I'm seeing a few seconds of the satellite forecast at the end).

Thanks.

I'm at work and don't know my local star# but, I'm on the Romeoville head end with Comcast and our LOT8's has been about 2 minutes off cue for the past week. The 1st 2 minutes is the national feed, then the local forcast which starts on the 10's and is cutting into the studio show.

Mine's been fine lately, but it screwed up again.  For the past few days, it's been cueing about 30 seconds late.

It's been reset.  That should help.

Ugh, I've been having this same problem for the past week now.  It's about 20 seconds off.
Thank you in advance.   B)

I hate to have to bump this thread, but this same problem has crept up again.  It began a few days ago, and it's been getting progressively worse.

I would actually recommend starting a new topic (I'm assuming a mod will spin it in to its own thread) as the STAR team may see this as just a generic reply and not view the thread for the new issue.

I'll try that next time.

Thing is, this has been a recurring issue for me, so I figured it would be foolish to pollute the forum with duplicate threads.  Bumping this thread has always worked in the past.

I'm having this problem again   :(

On every LF, I'm seeing about 30 seconds of the satellite forecast before the STAR kicks in.  Since it starts late, it obviously finishes late, so I usually hear OCM voices while my 7-day Forecast is on the screen.
