Radar/Satellite Fix for Fall River, MA Intellistar
« on: April 28, 2010, 09:40:07 AM »
Hello Star Team, My Star ID is 022622 "New Bedford Area"

Recently my Star was receiving this Positioning since the Star's got the "Local Time" update on my IStar LDL

and before the update had this positioning

Is there anyway the Rad/Sat Could be Reset to this Previous positioning before the "local Time" update?

Thanks again in advance

Alex!

No offense, but is that minor shift really that bothersome? I see nothing wrong except the tiniest portion of the right can't be seen anymore, even though you can't get radar data in the middle of the ocean, so the point...?

Point being I'm just asking if they could move it back to it's original positioning that's all.

Plus Fishermen and "Marine Interests" take a good look at the radar over the ocean.

It's possible that there was a complaint from the headend that it was too zoomed out, which I can agree with. Nonetheless, I don't think it's THAT much of a big deal. You can still see plenty of ocean waters.

If anyone is going out THAT far in the ocean they aren't going to watch TWC for wx information.

I couldn't tell the difference in the two pics for a long time. I really don't see any problem with it

I have the image as far east as I can get it. We lost some real estate with the last fix.
