It's possible the errors are caused by the tornado and lightning bolt icons not existing anymore.

That's what I was starting to think too. I looked back at my recordings from that morning, and while the tab bar appeared at 5:08, the Severe Thunderstorm Watch tab did not (even though it was still effective for another hour). Perhaps this is something that should be mentioned to the STAR Team?

I've moved it to tech support.

I am seeing it as well, must be a nationwide error. Happened just after a Severe T'storm Watch crawl. I will upload a vid ASAP.

Broken LDL during WW53 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yuKDiO8iRkg#)
This occurred during Severe T'Storm Watch 53. This can also pose as a safety risk, since some people may tune into TWC half-way through the Local forecast, and may not be notified of the watch.
Whoops, wrong WW number.

Are the tabs outside of the Local effected?  Or just during the Local?

It seems as only during the local forecast as that's the only spot the old blue bar LDL is used.

Looks like I wasn't the only one who saw this error.

It only happens during the local forecast.

It happens to 22842 (Comcast - East Lansing) as well. It happened only durring the LF like every one else stated earlier.

I haven't had any contact with 22842 since the start of Spring Break, so thanks for clearing that up Curt

Yes, I saw the problem once on 22689 aswell, but it appears to be gone.

The issue has been fixed, however I noticed another issue. The lightning bolt will disappear after the first time the watch shows.

Odd how the tornado icon is on the tab before it scrolls to the left following the ad crawl, but it disappears as soon as it scrolls to the left.

That spark is because it disappeared!   :P

I don't understand what you mean.

When the icon disappears the "spark" is shown!
It's been like that since June 2, 2008 IIRC with the flare. :whistling:
