Title: Gainesville, Florida STAR ID
Post by: brandonmahaffey85 on May 15, 2013, 08:42:57 PM: Can someone please tell me what the STAR ID is for Gainesville, FL? My cable company DOES NOT show it at the top of the hour. Thanks!!! By the way the Cable Company is Altitude Communications based out of Valdosta, GA. But the local head end is in High Springs, FL

Sadly neither cable company shows the STAR ID number anymore :no: TWC dropped the ID screen months ago for unknown reasons.

However, according to his profile, he has the WeatherStar XL, which doesn't show the STAR ID during local forecasts.

Nope. That means only IS viewers get to see their ID numbers but not the legacy STAR viewers :no: My guess for the sudden removal of the ID screen (as well as for shorter LFs) is probably for more ad space :rolleyes:
