Our Weatherscan in Topeka "skips" (basically freezes for a second) often. It completely freezes all the time, tho. It's been frozen since 10:40PM. It's now 1:22AM. This has been happening since the day we got it on May 19th.

Is the ID # the #Weatherscan it is to be produced or something?Basically, the ID number for any IntelliStar (including the Weatherscan IntelliStar) can be used to show an approximate age of the unit. Units from 2003 (which is when the IS was first introduced) are down in the low 20000s. The ID numbers generally increase with each unit that is rolled out. New units are now in the low 30000s, which basically infers that about 10,000 IntelliStar (and Weatherscan IntelliStar) units have been added in the past seven years.

I just got off the phone with Cox. She submitted the problem and before I even got off the phone with her she said they wrote her back and will reset the IntelliStar and look into the constant freezing problem. Weatherscan is now off air so they must be resetting it.
Our Weatherscan was just rebroadcasting TWC all day.....so we had 3 TWC channels, HD, SD, and WxScan SD.

My Weatherscan shows a national TWC feed as well, although there's no audio. I've seen others though (such as Camden) that show a black screen when the unit is off.
