I saw the Travel segment for the first time today and I was surprised to see the places for the Destination Forecast had all been changed to Southeastern Universities? They used to be major US cities like New York, Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles etc. Also on the regional forecast, Memphis,TN and Birmingham,AL were removed and replaced with Jackson,MS and Pensacola,FL.

Yeah, a lot of Weatherscans are starting to show local/regional cities on the Travel segment. Philadelphia and SE PA's Weatherscans have local cities, but my Camden Weatherscan has national cities arranged in no particular order.

Speaking of segments this is about the one year anniversary of when FPB beta-tested those Five segments last year, i believe my line-up was:

Frankfort
Local Radar
Travel
Airport
Garden
Health
Golf

for a grand total of 7 segments those were the (8) days

Yeah, Verizon seems to be the the company that prefers it the most. The only Comcast headend I know that carries International is in Richmond I believe. I wish I had that segment.

Heh I wish I could've asked my uncle about this if he still had Comcast instead of FiOS. :P
I've gone off on a journey to be a moderator at another forum, but this place will forever remain home for me~

Wow, it's early, but not surprised with the early season snow in some spots. I'll see if Ski came to my weatherscan this weekend and post clips if it did.

Still getting summer segments here. Last year ski came on 10/28 so we should be getting that segment soon.

They do it region by region, headend by headend. There's no specific date as to when you will see winter segments.
