Because at TWCT we care about the safety of our members, I want to let everyone know of a situation that affects anyone that uses Yahoo mail, and I want to give you the CORRECT information, which is NOT what was reported by another site. There is a Yahoo Mail user by the name of Jimmy Ruska (most of heard of him, I'm pretty sure) who is contacting people and trying to get their passwords for this and another forum (not their e-mail password, as was reported at another site). He contacted me to try and get mine, and in no uncertain terms I told him that he'd lost his marbles. He also threatened to not come back to the site, which I told him would not bother me in the least.
He told me that his really name is actually Dylan, and not Jimmy, but I don't know if that's true. I do know, however, that it is NOT Felipe. His IP address does not originate from Chile (and at last check Felipe hadn't mastered the art of the proxy yet).
I wasn't going to say anything because as far as I know myself and one other person are the only two people affected, and I didn't think it warranted alarming everyone. But seeing as you all were mislead in many ways, I thought it would be wise to sort out all the misinformation, and give you the real scoop.
Feel free to reply to this thread if you wish, but I don't want to see it become a roundtable discussion of every lowlife we know.
