Matt, could I suggest a sans-serif font for your design? Serif fonts (i.e., Times New Roman) look awkward on the web.

Both of my designs are very simplistic because I like a nice clean look to my webpages, plus they're both XHTML 1.0 Transitional compliant.

Yeah that one is my favorite of the two too.

I like your simplistic approach Billy. I don't like a bunch of extra bells and whistles either. I also don't like a page that takes too long to load either (more than the count of three on a broadband connection), and the fancier the page the longer the load time.

Also have to take into consideration, the people who are on DSL and even Dial-Up. They still exist.

We could consider using Matt's version, along with a "lite version" using Billy's creation. I've seen sites that are like this. Would this be difficult to do?

Hmm...if that is the option that we go for, I'd be willing to look into that.  Maybe the best of both worlds.

I don't want to do that. I just want one site for all. Having two sites is far more work than I want.
