I have updated my selection; the previous background did not work well with text, and this version shows the special tricks I used for the background....

Great job Billy and Matt!
 
 Matt, I think I like your more recent one with the cloud background better than the sunny background. More easier on the eyes, IMO. B) Though, I think I like the font that's on the current layout on this site, which I believe is Verdana.

Of course, this is entirely Gary's call, but I'm just posting my thoughts on this.

Matt, could I suggest a sans-serif font for your design? Serif fonts (i.e., Times New Roman) look awkward on the web.
