Mike, I remain steadfast about the fact that I didn't copy Matt. He doesn't own the rights to that design. And unfortunately, there's no better one. I refuse to allow my site to suffer because I have to use inferior designs because of the childishness of another. Of course, Mike, you know I have always urged you to leave if you don't like it here. But while we're at it, doyou have any better ideas for the store?

Of course I knew you were being sarcastic, Gary. I was just attempting to clarify your assumptions. There are plenty of other ways to create a store. One example...you could've separated the artists by letter, then each page could've had links to albums, then a page w/an album cover (not the small amazon ones) and some text about the album (maybe a review). But if you want to have it setup like me, that's cool. I'll take it as a compliment and leave it at that.

I haven't read your reply on Bill's board, but my point there was (intentional or not) that your comment about that guy's website was rather rude.

BTW, when I pointed out the similarities between my store and his, I wasn't saying that he intentionally stole my idea. I was just saying that they were awfully similar.

That method seems A LOT more complicated, especially if only for the sake of making our stores different looking.

Turning to better news now, I have put all of the openers I have received over the last few days back up on the Openers page. Thanks to Steve, Stephen, anybody else whose been so kind as to resupply me with those openers. I hope that there are more where those came from, as there are still plenty missing from the page. How long ago is awhile? If it was before, say, December, your going to have to contribute them again because they got deleted from Matt's server. Haven't you been here since the site came back up? If so, you've surely seen my pleas for people to recontribute anything they may have contributed prior to the calamity.

it was actually at the beginning of december...and i did contribute them after you switched servers, as for your pleas...that is actually why i contributed them....i won't be able to get them to you until this weekend, i have finals this week and their already killing me.

I have a question, how are people having these openers if some of them don't even have a TV Tuner/ recorder?

I assume that most of the do indeed have tuners or else transferred the clips from VHS to their computer.

MOst clips have now been restored on the 24 hour Trammell Starks outage page. There are still a few missing, but I suspect that this is because I was unable to open two of the archives that Billy posted for me. Hopefully when all is said and done all of the clips will be replaced.  :sunglasses:
