Martin, can you leave a link to download the videos so people can view them in Windows Media Player if they care to? Personally, I hate the flash option and think it is annoying, but that's just my opinion.

Yes, I agree. I'm sure most like to keep the files on their computer anyway. I sure do.

In normal instances I would but these are not from a member of the forum and I had to ask permission to use them. All videos in the future will include a download link. Ill ask and see if we can add them for these videos.

As for the flash player, its staying for good. There were a ridiculous amount of file formats posted. Some people couldn't play certain videos without the right codec/player etc. From now on all videos will be in the .mp4 format

You know you can try the "download this video" option (if you have Real Player) that will pop up if you mouse over a flash video. Then, you can convert it to any format you wish, also in Real (chances are it will download in a .flv format). More trouble than it may be worth, but if you truly want the video, it's the way to go.

I didn't think it was so critical that people be able to download this kind of stuff but I will for future content that I have permission to do so.

TWC's not exactly in their signature storm alert, but I put up an Ida coverage logo anyway, since TWC is covering it!

Hmm... The forums were down since midnight and came back an hour or so ago... Everything else, including the site, were working fine... I wonder what happened...

Yeah, it also happened Saturday morning. At first, I thought it was a connection issue on my part (since I once again had router troubles on Sunday morning).

My guess is that there was some kind of server issue, but I don't even have a clue beyond my guess as to why just the forum went down but not the rest of the site.

I think it is a server issue, TWCC was down as well.
