Hi all.  Finally, a "Local Across the 48's" that didn't slip my mind:
https://rcpt.yousendit.com/588005710/4e1904c540d04b9eb47d2bcfbc6a0e17

If anyone's eager for an XL fix, I doubt you'll be disappointed.  I let the video run a bit longer than usual so I could get in a glimpse of the black bar, among other things.

And yes, it is raining cats and dogs outside right now.  <_<
A.T.

I'm participating.  I'm recording at 7:58pm CENTRAL time.  Though I don't know if I can upload it to YouTube, because YouTube is being a butthead for me, again.  The joys of files not converting.  <_<

Sorry, but you missed it. It was at 7:58pm EASTERN time, meaning you had to record at 6:58pm CENTRAL time. ;)

Great videos, Andrew and Grgeiger. Always nice to see the legacy STARs in action.

This is an interesting TCF glitch on Grgeiger's Junior that I noticed:

Wonder what caused the background to fail for a split second?

I have no idea how much longer that Jr will be running. Cable company is upgrading like crazy. I hear various rumors they are eventually going to combine our system with another town 30 miles away.. then I hear other rumors they are going to keep everything here.. I assume the Junior will be retiring.

Does anybody have any ideas how many Jr's are still running?

Here are my clips:

- It's a camera recorded clip, but it's better than nothing. ;)

Emulated version (I had my VCR set to record my IS when I was recording the 4000 emulator):
Taken at the exact same time as the real LF, with the WeatherSTAR 4000 emulator. Contains the A&B promo, emulated Station ID, EE LF intro, the LF (obviously), and then the top of the hour bumper. Also features the same song that played on the actual LF, "Allusion" by Chris Geith.

I'll have mine up on Sunday. I hope you're willing to wait that long, Gary.

Haha, that's neat Stephen. I actually did something similar. I emulated my junior, 3000, and 4000 all at the same time as the LAT 48's. I even emulated the station ID on all of them, only with the older lake station ID. Not the new one. :(
