Title: Where is the best place online to download fonts at no cost?
Post by: NYCTWCjunkie on November 21, 2008, 08:12:40 PM
Hey guys, I wasn't totally sure where to ask this question, but I figured the TWC Fan Art board was the closest in logical sense I could post it.

I work on any TWC-themed graphic pages by using my Adobe Photoshop CS 2 program. I don't have the other program yet that would enable me to use animated GIF files on my graphics pages.

A long while back after receiving advice on this, I was able to download for free the Hit the Road lettering font from the internet, but I don't remember what source.

What I would like to know is where I can find online the best source for free downloads of fonts we can use in word processing and in this case Adobe Photoshop programs like CS 2.

I am now looking for the font called Clearview Highway, the closest font to what I'm looking for in re-creating the temperature font used during live segments that show just the current temperatures or forecast high or low temperatures for cities on the regional weather maps. They don't include the weather icon with these map locations, only the temperatures shown.

I appreciate any advice anybody can provide. Thanks!

See if you can try fonts101.com (http://www.fonts101.com). Hopefully, this helps.

Thanks! I just tried a search and no luck, so it'll probably take me a while to search for the right one, but hopefully it's there.

Well, if the fonts cost money in the first place, you're not gonna find it free probably.
