Shifting gears, no true legacy STAR emulation is complete without a true radar representation right? Well this is what I have been working on this evening for my favorite legacy STAR of all time: The WeatherSTAR4000.
Below are my rough drafts. Surprisingly it was a lot easier to put together than I thought.

Credit: Radar image (FFC radar site), interstate lines/markers, state/county outlines were provided by noaa.gov only for the sole purpose of showing off the radar. I plan on drawing up everything in Adobe Illustrator (except the radar of course)

NOTE: This is my first rough draft, so I'm still tweaking around, that also includes the radar banner. I updated the legend to the 8 color code, what's left is to redesign (and recolor) the banner.
