I need some help, I'm trying to decide which layout works best for this LF concept. There are two of them. This concept started off being based off of Accuweather's website design and somehow down the road it morphed into this.

A. Layout One - Horizontal 4 City Obs, Time Displayed on White Titlebar

B. Layout Two - Boxed 4 City Obs, Time Displayed on White Titlebar

Thanks Andy, I'll need a tiebreaker because I myself have been leaning towards the first option A.

I ended up going with option A, however I'm still planning on using option B just for a different forecast product.

Animation Test - AE CS6 Since I saved this as an uncompressed AVI file, the raw file couldn't be uploaded because it shot up to a whopping 2.3 GB! So I had to compress it, unfortunately some resolution was lost in the process.

Absolutely brilliant!

Cleaned up a LOT of the animations and revised/added new animations. Also added more narration w/ a completed radar (first rough draft)

-Animations changed to a Foggy text effect on the white titlebars
-Animations on the white titlebars changed to a Slide Swoop
-Added outer glow to the text on the CO page
-Redid the Lens Flare effect and reduced the brightness some the previous video.
-Added a Bullet Train effect to the text on the Weather Bulletin/Local Forecast Screens

-I hope the animation effects on the radar screen isn't overkill. Sometimes I get a little carried away when experimenting.

LF Concept Revised Animations and Narrations Houma, LA

This isn't TWC related, it's actually school related, but I thought I would share it here instead of in the FP.

This is how my final project for my Vector Graphics Class came out. We had to redesign the front cover/DVD disk of any existing movie (or video game) we wanted. I've always been a big Scooby Doo fan so I chose one of the two movies of theirs I used to own/watch as a little kid called "Scooby Doo on Zombie Island" (1998)

I didn't get to put as much detail into the background as I had envisioned during the sketch drawing stage, but overall I'm still satisfied with how it came out in the end.

Oh, and I also got an A+ on this Final Project which makes my final overall grade for this class an A+ (95%)

Nice job, and congratulations on the good grade!    On top of that, this is my favorite Scooby-Doo movie.  Seeing this makes me contemplate watching it again.

I've complained and ranted (maybe too much I'll admit) about how all of TWC's graphics carry no uniformity in all their shows so I decided to do it myself using Photoshop. It's not perfect, especially the masking I did on the images of the OCMs. I had a hard time finding more higher quality photos so these were the best I could find.

I designed this as more of an ad for TV/Web, but it can work as a show opener also if TWC's logo and the timeslot info isn't on the banner. I'll post an alternate version later on.
