I've made plenty of IS emulations in the past, but this is my very first attempt at making the Blue LDL. I wanted to make a whole new LDL, but I think this one complements this IS Concept really well.

Nothing fancy, just an idea since it appears quite a few of you liked the large LDL used 2 years ago. In retrospect I miss it too. The design of the LF is loosely based off of WKRN-TV (Nashville, TN)

No problem Donovan, I have to give you credit again, but for a different titlebar of yours you made that I'm using for my SmartCast STAR Project. These are some changes I made since 2 months ago in April.

Didn't take very long to make these changes, most of the work went into the background, LDL, and modifying the titlebar some. The major change is the Right Now screen. I'm not sure if I'm gonna keep icons on that page or not.

Revised the LDL to look similar to the Satellite LDL that is actually used on TWC.

I also revised the Right Now page because in retrospect, I think the wild bright colors of the background were a bit too much, along with the template looking a little too cluttered so I moved the animated weather background behind the template fading in. NOTE: The animated background would only appear if precip was being reported, I used "Snow/Wind" as an example of how that would work. If the sky observation was anything outside of rain/snow/sleet/freezing rain/thunderstorms the generic still sky background would be shown on the Right Now page just as it's shown on the other pages.

Some other little changes
Mixing in Arial fonts along with Helvetica and Grotesk fonts.

This version is just a generic gradient blue background, it would have no still sky image or animated weather in the background. A video response will be posted below if you want to compare the differences from the first final draft.

If the IntelliStar got a minor update, it would be nice if it could look like this so it would be more appealing with more vivid colors which it seriously lacks right now.

What If...?

What if the previous graphical version of the IntelliStar had of still existed in March 2010 and gotten the new IntelliStar icons update? Probably something like this: AWESOME! They look better with this design imo.

Most of my recent work went into tweaking the background's color temperature, softening (blurring) the background and adjusting the brightness, contrast, and saturation.
