Finally, a NEW IntelliSTAR Emulator (created by me) HAS BEEN RELEASED!
Presenting- The "IntelliSTAR Emulator: SQUEAK-X1"!
(This new emulator has both a Local and a National forecasts.)
Features (Local Forecast):
- Initially all products used on the IntelliSTAR (2004-2013), including the Record Temperatures, Heat Safety Tips, Climate Data, and the Traffic screens
- New products: Airport Delays (United States only), Ski Reports
- A "Fly In" animation for some slides to replicate the IntelliSTAR (2004-2007)
- There are two Heat Safety Tips slides for indoors and outdoors, and two Traffic Report slides for people who want to have more than two traffic incidents/constructions impacting their area
- All slides will last for EXACTLY 10 seconds (except for the Radar products, the Regional and Local Radar slides last for 16 seconds each, and the Radar Satellite slide last for 8 seconds)
Features (National Forecast):
- You can tell it's a three minute flavour by realizing there are 18 slides in total, all slides lasting for 10 seconds
- The DayPart Forecast, Severe Weather Warnings, Precipitation Forecast, and Thunderstorm Forecast screens are completely remade from the IntelliSTAR (2005-2011 / Emergency Feed)
- The 3 Day Forecast for 50 states' capitals, with help from (
https://home-school.lovetoknow.com/50_States_and_Capitals_in_Alphabetical_Order), has been included in this presentation, known as "Fifty Capitals Forecast". There is no plan to recreate the regional forecast or the Radar Satellite
Also, this package has the default background (you can change the background as many times as you want, since I made a 50% transparent table on products to prevent ruining the picture), a LDL (this was put in the bottom of the local forecast on all slides by default as a 11.02 x 1.27, but it's up to you to finish it because I didn't want to ruin the picture), and the Station ID and Local Forecast intro (you may notice they are the exact videos in my above post in 640x480 resolution). The font in this emulator is Hit The Road. If you don't have Hit The Road, then download it, it's in the package as well. You do not have to use this font if you do not want to, but using this font is highly recommended for best experience (for some computers...).
There's a password for the SQUEAK-X1 as well. The local and national forecast passwords are EXACTLY the plain d@mn same: imback1
