Comcast. I wanted Verizon, but after hearing that there's less headends, I changed my mind.
-

What's wrong with directv? Can't be any worse than comcast.

You can get a narrationless JR or 4000 with cable but not satellite. ;)

Their flavors are all screwy because verizon headends are notorious for covering large areas.

yeah NYC is one of my CC cities, and its 96 miles away

You have satellite, so that isn't surprising. ;)
-
NO! I'm talking about the Verizon intellistar

That's one of the reasons why I'm not choosing Verizon. Philadelphia is a lot more urban than Marlton, so the weather can be a lot warmer there.

NO! I'm talking about the Verizon intellistar
Doesn't matter to me... I live 10-15 miles east of downtown Pittsburgh, I'll survive. ;)
-
Charter Communications here
-
Here in Ottawa I have Rogers Cable and Dish Network.
In Atlanta I have Comcast and Dish Network.
-
I thought Dish Network doesn't have service in Canada?

For one thing he said he had Dish in Atlanta.

I have a Dish subscription in Atlanta, and I have a receiver on the same account here in Canada that I brought up.
-
8 year Comcast viewer, but my mom says we'll probably change over to Directv next year. I'm gonna miss the intellistar.
-
Scamcast.
-
Time Warner
-
DirecTV
-
DirecTV
You've already told us that Vic. See the first page of this thread. :P
-
Actually, if you read carefully, the thread title says "Whose your CABLE provider?". So technically, those of you who have satellite do not apply to this thread. :D
-
ok sorry! :)
-
Irving, TX is served by Time Warner Cable.
-
Whittier, CA Charter Communications. In the LA area Comcast got bought out by Time Warrer right before football season and that made a lot of people quite angery since they lost the NFL Network.
-
That's weird. I have Comcast and the NFL Network is only available on the Sports tier (which I refuse to order because I already spend enough on cable).
-
I have Dish Network
-
Verizon FiOS, and i get a fair share of IntelliStar Outages, so i dont need DirecTV, thank you.

That was the situation with the North Texas area almost 2 years ago. And had they not re-upped their carriage agreements with Fox owned stations KDFW (Fox) and KDFI (MyNetworkTV), there would be more ticked customers.
-
Comcast here, and it's very boring. My other family members have DirectV, and they have HD.
-
Directv (Soon Switching To Dish Network)
-
Verizon FiOS.
-
Time Warner
-
2 companies serve Frankfort
1. Frankfort Plant Board (main)
2. Time Warner (shelbyville/ extreme western Franklin County)
my friend has TW and she lives a mile away!
BTW, I have FPB Cable, Internet and LD Phone.
-
I have Qwest Communications. We don't have Comcast in Phoenix...
I hate Cox! Hate it! Anyways... Qwest has this really cool feature called Caller ID. You can press the "Call ID" button on your remote and it shows you the last 9 callers Caller ID, Phone number and when they called.(Pic below for both pictures click on it to get a better view)

Also when you are watching television, like say watching TWC, and somebody calls, it would tell you who called. (Pic below)

Comcast (well, what do you know folks!)
Current WeatherSTAR unit: IntelliSTAR.
Local WeatherSTAR ID number: 022878
Cable channel location: 2 (formally 36)
Former cable headend owners:
General Electric Cablevision Company - 1975?-1986?
UA Cablevision of Illinois - 1986?-1991?
TCI - 1991?-1998
AT&T Broadband - 1999-2000
Insight Communications - 2001-2007
Note: Comcast took over our cable headend since Janurary 1, 2008. They divided the Insight-Midwest partnership in Illinois. I hate Comcast (and I even hate our broadcast market too)! :furious:
-
My Cable box's menu has messages which suggests phone hook-up
-
Comcast, and I HATE IT!
This is what I would like to do to them :club:
I wish I had Charter, because they never updated their version of WS XL to Intellistar like Comcast did :twothumbs:
I always say, there's nothing intelli(gent) about intellistar!
