No Headline Scroll?
« on: May 21, 2018, 12:47:49 PM »
Something I noticed on The Weather Channel as of late. The line above the local conditions/forecasts which usually scrolls news headlines regarding weather events is blank. I know that severe weather alerts can overlap it when events arise and as of this month since the LOT8s changeup, the local ads via our headend scroll on there too. Is it a technical glitch or was it an intentional modification altogether?

The ticker bar appears to be back as of 5/27

And the ticker bar disappeared. The only tickers active were the local ads on the new "LOT8s" and the severe weather scrolls. Otherwise, no national.
