Welcome to the 21st century, Eric!
My 16-year-old TV went on the fritz yesterday, so I got an HDTV set today, and I'll be getting an HD cable box tomorrow, meaning I'll finally be able to watch TWC in HD. More importantly, I'll be able to watch along with everyone else when the HD Intellistar makes its debut.

Congrats! now you get to see the new LDL that twc has on HD

It'll be nice to be able to see things for myself without relying on people posting thumbnails here. :)

Even I can be patient if I put my mind to it. :)

Wow! Congrats  I wish this were the case for me, too... but knowing Crapcast in my area, they most likely wont :club:

You have neither Weatherscan nor TWC HD? My sympathies. Have you tried contacting Comcast to see if they'll add the stations?

No Weatherscan on Comcast? That's really surprising. The majority of Comcast headends east of the Mississippi carry Weatherscan. Maybe there's just no need for it in your market.

It can always be argued that there's a "need." :) My guess is that Comcast just doesn't want to shell out the money for a Star at that headend, use bandwidth space for Weatherscan, etc.

Does Comcast have any alternate weather feeds, like from a local news station or something?

Not here... anymore. Boston's NBC station carried NBC Weather Plus, which had its own channel on Comcast digital cable, very near Weatherscan, actually. However, since Weather Plus ended, no local station or cable network has had its own dedicated weather network.
Orlando television has two local channels with dedicated weather subchannels, but, of course, the weather in Orlando is oftentimes much worse than in Boston. :)

No Weatherscan here, either.

Yeah, I've called about it before and it was apparently pulled from the Lansing area, from what I have been told. I know TWC HD is obviously available here in Lansing (as I have posted videos of it), but I'm not 100% sure about Haslett and the E.L. I'll ask about it when I call about getting some DTAs this week or weekend.
