Finally upgraded my old SA box from 2000 to a brand new one that uses the Cisco branding (after SA was acquired in 2005). It's smaller, a LOT faster, and I also get some HD channels.

I am currently not recieving any SD channels, with the exception of locals. I am having to watch TWC HD, and I want my local data.  No Weatherscan, no IntelliSTAR.  Great job, Comcast!   

EDIT: I am recieving 2 SD channels that are not local. But still no WxScan or ISTAR.

Comcast lied to us about Southern Jersey having 50 extra HD channels including TWC HD. I watched the local intellistar yesterday and saw TWC working there (the Avalon glitch still hasn't been fixed) but TWC HD doesn't appear on the channel listings yet.

Still don't have it here yet either. Comcast Lower Bucks has at least 50-75 more HD channels than Comcast Garden State.

They said Pleasantville, Glassboro and Vineland would get 50 more HD channels from July 5th, but nothing yet.

I swear my old cable box wasn't stereo capable. The one I have now has MUCH better surround sound, even on the non-HD channels.

I never heard of them removing an HD channel... did they explain why?

Well, I found out that it wasn't just TWC HD.

Multiple other HD channels were showing a black screen. Such as NICK HD, DISNEY HD, USA HD, etc.

Maybe it is just Comcast.

Do the Cisco boxes from Comcast use the i-Guide like the Motorola ones?

No, but they're in the process of changing them over to that.

Because Comcasst had told us once before that some channels were being removed. Now, we have no TV at all because of a little rain shower that "ruined the Cisco box"  ..it is supposed to be back in 2 hours. Maybe TWC HD and all of the other channels will return then.
