Such as?

I'll just say I've seen companies with great brands fail with a redesign. I could dig out examples, but my brain is far too fried tonight.

I sure hope they survive. :( They are my cable provider, after all.

That's a good sign I suppose...

Also, some failing companies think they have an amazing rebrand to save them, but it ends up being a total flop to consumers and the company sinks for good. And I'll leave it at that.

Such as?

Tropicana. They tried to re-brand and change their carton design but so many people mistook it for some off/store brand and their sales fell big time. Needless to say they went back to their old design...

So this is Charter's new logo, with what is apparently their new slogan. Not the best, but then again, they do have a slogan.

TWC in...
Lansing: Comcast, Channel 36, STAR ID 22840
E. Lansing: Comcast, Channel 40, STAR ID 22842
Lansing Area: Broadstripe, Channel 40, STAR ID 25349
Current STAR count: 32. Be sure to see my channel for links to all the uploads!

That may be true, but Charter's ads are better, for a lot of reasons. I really like these three, for example:

"Love"

"Faces"

"Birds and Turtles"

I'm glad Charter's doing much better.  I wouldn't want my cable provider to be bought out by another Comcast or something...

We have Charter here, but ironically it doesn't cover the Atlanta area itself only the suburban towns right outside the city's perimeter.

Reminds me of TWC's old slogan "Bringing weather to life."

Even still with a lot of money in debt, I don't think the legacy Charter STAR's will be going anywhere anytime soon. I don't even think many IntelliStar 2's will be bought by Charter until the money worrys disappear. That probably means I'll be stuck with IntelliStar 1 for a couple years.

Don't worry, the IntelliStar is still good.

Pretty soon we'll be calling IStar 1 a legacy STAR.  :P
