AT&T U-Verse?

AT&T U-Verse is springing up in several areas across the country, and is already in the state of Michigan. The cable service, accessed by set-top boxes for each TV, is expected to be widely available in the East Lansing area. I am hoping to be able to get it within the next 12 months, replacing Comcast. When I get it, I will be getting TWC HD as well! I am stoked! 
Can't wait!

I wouldn't get U-Verse because there are absolutely no START Units at their headends.

ATT U-Verse = NO IntelliStar = No Local Forecast

I'd switch, but hearing that theres no STAR unit, I've lost my interest. I need to get away from the retched IS22842 Unit... that hunk of crap. It breaks down all the time.

Well, both the 22842 (East Lansing) and the 22840 (Downtown Lansing) units seem to be together with everything. If one is malfunctiong and/or not working properly, the other one doesn't either. I don't know for sure since I can't be in two places at once. Anyway, do you have any idea whose star ID is 22841? 
I would imagine AT&T should be getting some star units soon, as they begin to encompass a larger area and provide to more people.
