A Very Odd Error...
« on: November 26, 2009, 10:49:22 AM »
On The DirecTV Satellite Local Forecast, In The Top-Right Hand Corner (Where The Advertisement Is Supposed To Be) You Don't See The Ad, You See The Satellite Forecast! This Is An Example:
Local On The 8's - 11/26/09 - 8:38AM - Southaven, MS
(That Is My Video.)

I never seen this happen before. I usually see either the LOT8s logo or the WUWA logo. That is weird indeed.

I've certainly never seen that happen on any satellite LF before, but it looks like they somehow got a video feed mixed up on this one instance.

I agree, nice catch. While Directv's "weather on the 8s" is not as complete as the cable version it is far superior to what DISH boasted about in late 2006 and never pulled off. I hope that one day Directv will be able to come closer to the cable version. One thing I wish Dtv would do soon is to close the HD version the same way the SD version closes with the national radar loops.

Perhaps if the boxes get some decent specs  then one day its possible to improve it.

Welcome to the forum btw :)

TWC will have to change there config. may when the HD star comes out. Direct tv does have a SD star.
